Liv Estrup studied photography at Santa Monica College. An early morning photo shoot on the empty streets of St. Petersburg, Russia led to a 10-year fascination with light and reflections. Liv has traveled extensively around the world and has photographed hundreds of reflections in water, glass, ceramics, metal, plastic… rivers, cars, windows, mirrors, polished stone and more. These images often have the appearance of watercolor paintings. Other series include Porthole Views, Odds and Ends, Silhouettes & Shadows, Landscapes and Portraits. Liv's work has been exhibited in California and Oregon and appears in brochures, videos and private collections.

Photography on canvas provides an image with a depth of color and form not available in the usual photograph. Images can be produced up to 36 x 48 inches. The “Reflection Series” (more than 300 images) particularly lends itself to this medium. Please request to see addtional images.
